Lovely food
Amazing experience!!!The antipasti was absolutely delicious and we were full up before the main course. Particularly deliscious were the cozze racanate (oven baked mussels in breadcrumbs - if you haven't tried this you must!) the carpaccio of swordfish and Ricci (sea urchins, a local delicacy).Service was great, the waiter really looked after us and the ambience is amazing. Restaurant is located in an old monastery with fountains and statues. All in all, amazing for the price
Amazing address, best food and very nice service! Thank you Danilo!
A really fulfilling experience, either for the place or for the food.We spent a lovely night there, and the fish we are was a cooking masterpiece.Congrats to the staff, I look forward to coming back soon and appreciate further dishes
This restaurant is the best restaurant I have eaten in since starting my tour of southern Italy. The building and garden was beautiful and creates a serene atmosphere. The food and service was superb. The whole tour group that ate here, all had a positive experience tonight. The staff also supplied an amazing torte birthday cake as a surprise for my partner Steve. He loved it and we both appreciated the effort put into our wonderful 4 course meal that tasted so good. We will have great memories of our special dinner at Villa Giovanni Camillo della Monica
We had a lovely meal in quite gorgeous surroundingsI would thoroughly recommend this to anyone dining in Lecce
This is the best restaurant in Lecce! It has everything you could ever want: great atmosphere, gorgeous garden, antique building, impeccable service, and the best food you can imagine. I always get the antipasto misto and a pasta dish with fish. Everything is superfresh and soooooo good!
I was blown away by the dining experience at Villa Giovanni Camillo della Monica. This enchanting restaurant took us back in time, immersing us in the magical atmosphere of a 16th century complex with rooms decorated in Lecce Baroque and a picturesque garden. The Mediterranean dishes are authentic masterpieces, and the super abundant starters are a true feast for the eyes and the palate. What surprised me the most was the combination of affordable prices with exceptional food quality. The beauty of the rooms, with sumptuous chandeliers and brick vaults, added a touch of elegance to every bite. But Villa Giovanni Camillo della Monica is much more than a restaurant; it is a soul-touching experience. The courtesy and professionalism of the staff made us feel like special guests, and the variety of rooms, including an outdoor one, offers an evocative atmosphere for every occasion. This is much more than a dinner or lunch... it's a journey through time and authentic Mediterranean cuisine.Highly recommended for anyone looking for a unique dining experience."
